FastTrack at FINOPOLIS 2019: Forum gears up for biometric access

Biometrics can put you ahead of the pack

Participants will be able to enter the Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies FINOPOLIS 2019 using biometric technology, with both facial recognition and palm vein scanners available. Accredited Forum participants who have a Unified Biometric System profile or who registered palm vein scans at last year’s FINOPOLIS will be able to collect their badges at self-registration stands using their biometric data. The FastTrack system has been put in place to allow participants to enter the Forum venue.

Turnstiles at the venue will also be equipped with biometric scanners. Participants will be able use their biometric data to attend the welcome reception and gala dinner, access the free coffee machines and much more.

To use FastTrack, participants must register with the Unified Biometric System at one of 172 banks across Russia: cbr.ru/fintech/remote_authentication/map/.

Participants who do not have a UBS profile can collect their badge by presenting a valid passport. FINOPOLIS 2019 will take place in Sochi on 9–11 October. Participants can apply to attend the event on the official Forum website.
